Reading Response and Wikis

I decided to try to use a wiki with something already established in my classroom. We have a take home reading program where students take home a different book every week, In the past they have done a written book report and picture. I was going to try and have them write their book report on a wiki to share with other students. I am going to try and get it set up. Wish me luck!

    I am interested to see how this turns out Sharon. Definitely let us know. Are you going to have them just do the writing or also add graphics? I would think that would be a bit difficult without parent help. Good luck and let us know how it goes. Great idea!

    Keep us posted on this-it sounds like a good family activity. My class would not be able to complete this type of activity, but I do see where most classes could. Let us know how it works out!

    That sounds really neat! How do the students get the books to take home each week? Do they have a choice or is there a schedule? I really like this idea and think it would be fun to try to use it in my classroom : )
